The Don Kelly Memorial Shield
Don Kelly was involved with The East Coast Tournaments for the best part of 25 years. He served on the Board of Directors of Tenpin Australia as Secretary and Treasurer for many years and was involved with the Queensland teams for most of those 25 years.

Don was always especially interested in the Junior/Youth bowlers and was always ready and willing to help improve their game with advice, instruction or whatever was required.

This shield was generously donated by the Kelly family, with a request that it be applied to the under 21 bowlers in the East Coast Challenge Cup.
The criteria is " the most improved average from the East Coast Challenge Cup games".

The inaugural year was 2006.
