The Masters tournament consists of six adult divisions ...
open and graded men ... open and graded ladies ... senior men and ladies (over 50's)
and four under 21 divisions ...
open and graded boys ...open and graded girls
All divisions (except seniors) are played over 2 stages
All participants, including the defending and state champions, must complete an all events entry in the Tenpin Australia Championships
to be eligible for the masters.
The defending and state champions receive automatic entry into the stage 1 roll off.
Other bowlers may use any championship event as a masters qualifying entry.
The masters entry fee must be paid prior to qualifying.
Open/Graded Ladies and Men
Stage 1 consists of a 4 game total pinfall roll off.
The top 20 qualifiers along with state and defending champions (total 24) will bowl for a position in stage 2.
The cost to bowl in stage 1 is $30.00
The top 8 will progress into Stage 2, the finals.
Stage 2 is head to head, 7 game pinfall plus bonus points of 20 for a win and 10 for a draw, no carry over pinfall from stage 1.
The cost to bowl in stage 2 is $15.00
In the event of a Defending or State Champion being unavailable for stage 1 or 2 of any division, the next applicable qualifier/s will be promoted to the starting line up for that division. A tie in stage 1 or 2 will be decided by a 1 game roll off.
Qualifying closes for all 4 divisions at the 8.00am squad on Thursday 4th October 2018

Senior Divisions
The top 6 qualifiers along with state and defending champions (total 10) will bowl 8 games. Highest total handicap pinfall will decide the winner. The cost to bowl is $45.00 In the event of a Defending or State Champion being unavailable for the finals, the next applicable qualifier/s will be promoted to the starting line up for that division. A tie will be decided by a 1 game roll off. Handicap for the senior divisions is 90% off 200 Qualifying closes for Ladies and Men at 5.00 pm squad Monday 1/10/18 Finals check in for both divisions closes at 8.00am Wednesday 3/10/18 All bowlers must be checked in "Prior to the check in close time" |
